The Discipline of Silence.

I used to think growth was loud—announcements,
apologies,
dramatic declarations of becoming better.
But real change does not perform—
it repeats,
quietly,
consistently,
without needing to be witnessed.

I learned this the hard way—through every moment I said I would change and didn’t.

Through every promise I broke before it had time to mean anything.

Accountability is not regret—it is behaviour, it is choosing not to react when reaction feels justified, it is biting your tongue before it becomes a weapon, it is showing up differently even when no one expects you to (especially then).

Because growth is not proven in what you say—but in what you refuse to repeat.
